Testimonials

Here are some kind words from our past guests!

“I love this place! The hospitality is excellent. I took a garden tour and have been to several events there including weddings and community events. My family comes in to visit from out of state and chooses to spend some of their time here. The main house was built in 1883, and has original flooring and many beautiful features. I think it’s the best place in Summerville to stay and play!”

“Just spent six nights in the Guest House at Linwood Inn…it was wonderful. This was our fourth stay at Linwood. Linda, Peter and Enola are absolutely awesome hosts. Our grandkids come visit while we stay at the “little house” and enjoy playing in the yard.
Downtown Historic Summerville is just a short walk away and offers many things to see. We attended our first Flowertown Festival while there this time..was a lot of fun.
Can’t wait for our next vacation to relax at Linwood.”

More Testimonials:

“My husband and I traveled to Linwood to escape the cruel Indiana winter and to visit my daughter who lives in the vicinity. What we didn’t expect was to find the most beautiful, relaxing vacation spot we have ever experienced. We are definitely planning a return trip thanks to our gracious hosts and their oh so efficient property manager. Thanks once again Linda,Peter, and Enola!”

“Linda was a great host and the property was absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with the resident cat “Earl Gray”. Close to shops, which we walked to daily, but hidden away which gave the feel of seclusion. Will definitely be back ❤️❤️”

“Logistically advantageous to everywhere we wanted to go.”

“The Linwood cottage was awesome and pretty much had everything you needed. The gardens and grounds are maintained and fun to explore. Linda was super gracious host. We spent time at the saltwater pool several days during our visit. From the property, you’re super close to the cute Summerville historic downtown area. You can also access big box stores, groceries, and restaurants less than 10 to 15 minutes away. You’re also only 30 minutes from Charleston!! We so enjoyed our relaxing stay and look forward to coming back to Linwood in the future.”

What a wonderful stay in the Bungalow on the grounds of The Linwood Inn. Upon arriving we found a welcoming calligraphy written note from the Innkeeper Linda.

This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. Downtown Summerville had cute shops and we enjoyed several visits there and ate a lot of our meal local.

We would highly recommend you to book this property. It’s just a short 30 minute drive to Charleston.”
